Overview
Adherence to long-term therapy is very low in the developed countries over the world - about 50%. Combined tablets are useful for long-term therapy, because they improve compliance to taking drugs, have less side effects and eventually potencies main therapy effects. Combined drug simvastatin + ezetimibe seem to be helpful for better control of hypercholesterolemia.
